Donna Frank was born in Rhode Island and raised in a small town
in Ontario, Canada. She has worked with inner-city outreaches for
several years and has a heart for the lost and the broken. Spending
three years as a counselor in a Christian drug rehab for addicts,
prostitutes and ex-felons, Donna has had the privilege of seeing
countless people set free from the bondages that had held them captive.
She now resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she attends Healing
Place Church.
After surviving a childhood of violence and abuse
Donna sought refuge in alcohol, drugs and sex. Coming out as a lesbian
at the age of seventeen, she would spend the next seventeen years
completely immersed in the lifestyle of homosexuality.
Even after getting sober she continued to battle
shame, unforgiveness, depression, anger and a myriad of other problems.
It was not until she had an encounter with God that she was able
to break free from her life of chaos and confusion. Through Gods
grace and His love, Donna has been set free from the darkness of
her past.
Freed from the bondages of perversion and pain,
Donna wishes to bring that freedom to others. She believes her call
in life is found in Isaiah 61:1
the Lord has anointed
me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening
of the prison to those who are bound
Donnas
desire is to see everyone offered freedom and to provide assistance
to those who choose it.
